What it does

Point toward the Kaaba with a clear sensor fallback.

Find the Qibla bearing from your chosen location. Use the device compass when supported, or read the angle with a clear fallback. Free, no account.

Use location and device orientation when available. If a sensor is unavailable, the app still gives a bearing and explains the limitation.

Who is it for?

For finding a geographic bearing toward the Kaaba. A compass arrow depends on the device’s orientation sensor; nearby metal and calibration can affect the reading.

How to use it

Choose a saved or manual location, or request your current position. Enable orientation if your browser asks and you want the live arrow. Without a sensor, read the numeric bearing and align using a reliable compass.

Features

Designed for this one purpose.

  • Location only after your action
  • Device orientation when supported
  • Manual bearing fallback
  • No location account

Offline use and internet access

The bearing calculation can run offline with coordinates already available. Place search and map tiles need internet. GPS availability and orientation permissions depend on your device; caching does not guarantee a live sensor reading.

Privacy and permissions

No account, advertising tracker or application backend is used. Preferences and any progress or favourites stay in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data removes them; they do not sync between devices. No camera, microphone or contacts permission is requested. Hosting still receives ordinary page requests. Links to sources open third-party websites with their own privacy policies. Location is requested only after your action; manual coordinates are an alternative. Place searches, map requests and prayer API calls can share the requested location with their external providers. Compass access may require a separate orientation permission. No continuous background location tracking is used.

Useful questions

Why is the arrow unavailable? Some browsers lack a compatible orientation sensor or permission. The numeric bearing remains a fallback, not proof of your phone’s current orientation.
