Install an Islamic web app on Android or iPhone
Install a free Islamic web app from your browser. Follow Android and iPhone steps, find its home-screen icon and understand which functions need internet.
Islam App Store ·
An Islamic web app starts from a website and can have its own home-screen icon. Islam App Store installs each tool separately: the Quran player, Daily Adhkar and Qibla Finder do not become one large store app. You do not need an Islam App Store account. Menu names and installation availability vary by browser and system version.
Android: start in Chrome
Open an app detail page and choose Install. The next page belongs to that app’s /islam/ address. If Chrome offers Install app, choose it and follow the browser prompt. Otherwise, open Chrome’s menu and look for Add to home screen. Depending on eligibility, this may offer installation or create a shortcut. Open the resulting icon and check that the intended application launches. A download from Google Play or an APK is not part of this workflow.
iPhone: add it from Safari
Open the app’s installation page in Safari. Choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. If your iOS version shows Open as Web App, enable it, confirm the name and add the icon. Open the icon from your home screen. If you arrived through an embedded browser in another app, first open the address in Safari. Apple’s current instructions are linked below; older iOS versions can show different options.
If no installation button appears
Check that you are on the individual app’s installation page, using an updated browser and an HTTPS address. A browser may not show a prompt when an app is already installed or its installation criteria are not met. Use the visible browser-menu instructions and the home-screen icon if already present. Do not grant unrelated camera or microphone access to install the app. On a computer, a supported Chrome or Edge browser may offer an install icon near the address bar.
Installation and offline use are different
Open the installed app online once so its interface and assets can be cached. Adhkar texts, the tasbih counter, reading-plan calculations and bundled learning content can then operate offline when the cache is complete. Quran audio remains streamed from MP3Quran; installing its player does not download the recitations. New prayer timetables, place searches and maps require internet. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted, so check the tool offline before depending on it. Local progress is not a cloud backup.
