Prayer times today — location and calculation method

What it does

The next prayer, countdown and full day in one clear screen.

See today’s prayer times and the next-prayer countdown for your chosen location. Select the calculation method and school; online data comes from AlAdhan.

See the next prayer and the complete daily timetable together, with a visible calculation method and honest location/network states.

Who is it for?

For a location-specific daily timetable. Different methods and schools can produce different times; compare the displayed settings with the guidance used by your local mosque.

How to use it

Choose a location manually or request geolocation, then select the method and school you follow. Read the next-prayer countdown and all daily times. Check the date, timezone and settings when comparing another timetable.

Features

Designed for this one purpose.

• Next-prayer countdown
• Complete daily timetable
• Calculation-method selector
• Clear location errors

Offline use and internet access

Fresh prayer timetables require an AlAdhan network request. Cached results are not a promise of current offline times for a new date or location. Place search uses an external geocoding service.

Install on your phone or computer

Select Install to open this application’s installation page. On Android, use the browser’s Install app or Add to home screen option when available. On iPhone, open it in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen and Open as Web App. Each application has its own icon and storage; no store account is required. Installation options depend on your browser. Open the installed app online once before relying on its cached offline features.

Privacy and permissions

No account, advertising tracker or application backend is used. Preferences and any progress or favourites stay in this browser on this device. Clearing browser data removes them; they do not sync between devices. No camera, microphone or contacts permission is requested. Hosting still receives ordinary page requests. Links to sources open third-party websites with their own privacy policies. Location is requested only after your action; manual coordinates are an alternative. Place searches, map requests and prayer API calls can share the requested location with their external providers. Compass access may require a separate orientation permission. No continuous background location tracking is used.

Useful questions

Does it ring an adhan alarm in the background? The app displays times and a countdown; it does not promise reliable background adhan notifications.
