Listen to Quran online and choose a reciter
Choose a Quran reciter, play complete surahs and resume your listening in Islam App Store. Understand the recording source, internet use and saved position.
Islam App Store ·
Start with the combined Quran player if you want to choose among 20 voices, or open a named reciter’s detail page if you know whose recording you want. Both paths use the documented MP3Quran catalog. The following steps explain this product’s listening workflow, rather than making a religious assessment of the reciters.
Check the recording before choosing
The name alone does not identify every recording by a reciter. Read the recitation label on the app page: the catalog includes particular Hafs, Ibn Kathir and Ibn Amer recordings. Each listed app covers 114 surahs for its selected recording. French and English transliterations may differ, so use the attributed source and recording label when matching a voice. Islam App Store is an independent interface and does not claim to be any reciter’s official website.
Play a complete surah
Install the chosen app and open its icon. Select a reciter in the combined player, choose a surah from its Arabic or translated name and press Play. Audio is requested when you start playback, rather than loading every recording when you view a landing page. Use the player’s next and previous controls to change surahs. Pause before changing networks if you want to avoid an interrupted stream.
Resume on the same device
The player remembers the selected surah and listening position in local browser storage. Return through the installed icon on the same device and browser context to continue. This record is not an account or cloud sync; another phone will not automatically know your position. Clearing browser data can remove it. The saved position also does not contain the audio file, so resuming still needs a working stream.
When audio does not load
Check internet access and use the visible retry control. A public provider may be temporarily unavailable even when the app interface opens. Installation can cache the interface but not all Quran audio, and text or timing data can need their own first request. Do not assume a cached screen means the recitation is downloaded. If you only need to record reading progress without a stream, the separate khatmah planner is a better fit.
